Twigs and Twine

November 11, 2015

One of the many joy's of being a floral designer is that It has opened my eyes to small beautiful details. As I walked my dog in the woods the other day, i noticed that the fall had turned the roses from a dainty flower into a beautiful bright red berry (otherwise known as a rose hip).

Of course my first instinct is to pick some so i might create a new project. Which I promptly did. Along with some other pods, leaves, and drying weeds. I then went and found some festive twine and began creating.

The day's project was simple. I layered and wrapped the stems together, and made sure to knot the end several times. Then I wrapped the string around my bun and snapped a few pictures for y'all to enjoy.
